SanaaYetu Riddim is a powerful music project and Reggae Riddim that aims to amplify voices advocating for women and girls' empowerment. The project brings together talented musicians from Kenya alongside international acts, uniting them on a dynamic riddim that addresses the critical issue of gender-based violence.Through their collaboration, SanaaYetu delivers a message of strength, resilience and hope, using music as a platform for raising awareness and sparking change in communities across the globe.The project highlights the transformative role of music in social activism, providing a space for artists to share their talent while championing gender equality and justice.
All Artists in the project are passionate musician's dedicated to using their voice for change.With unique sounds that blend-Reggae,Dancehall and Afro fusion they have captured the hearts of many. Their music not only entertains but also inspires, addressing important social issues and advocating for a better world.
Why They Support Women Empowerment & Fight GBV:
All The Artists in this project believe in equality and the power of music to spark conversations that lead to real change. They actively support women’s empowerment by uplifting female voices and addressing gender-based violence (GBV) through their lyrics and activism,Having witnessed the struggles women face they are committed to creating awareness and encouraging a culture of respect, safety and empowerment for all. Through their music, they hope to inspire both men and women to stand together in the fight against GBV and for gender equality.
The proceeds from this music project will go to support SanaaYetu Community Based Organisation's project's on women/girl child empowerment and fight period poverty.
We are a community based organization focused on empowering women and Youth through access to information, Education and business opportunities. We educate our community on importance of mental wellness, menstrual hygiene business opportunities and a clean environment as the key to a progressive community. We advocate for tax cut policies that affect women sanitary health and access to favourable loans to empower the youth to have small startups in our community.
